Prehistoric Objects (Whittingham and Callaly)

Flint arrowheads, spindle whorls, querns, and incised stones have frequently been found in the fields around Mountain and Mile farms. (The authority also refers to (possibly included in above) an incised cist cover found at Mountain farm (NU 01 SE 17) and a leaf shaped arrowhead found at Mile Farm (NU 01 SW 20)). (1)
