Near the footpath from the west side of Addycombe Wood to Debdon, and about one mile to the north of Rothbury church, in the lower part of a large group of burial mounds (NU 00 SE 34) is a standing stone, four feet high. (1)

[NU 05700292] A standing stone of sandstone is situated upon the north side of a ridge of heather-covered moorland which descends in a south-easterly direction from a rise of ground. It stands 1m high and measures 1.1m by 0.7m at ground level. The top surface is deeply grooved by natural weathering. (2)

Part of scheduled monument 'Cairnfield, standing stone and cup marked rock on Debdon Moor 500m south-west of Primrose Cottage'. Scheduling revised on 17th September 1993, new national monument number 20901.
A standing stone measuring 1.1m by 0.7m in section and surviving to a height of 1m is situated to the north of a north-east to south-west orientated low ridge among the clearance cairns (NU 00 SE 34). (4)
