War Memorial Statue Near Town Hall, Ferryhill (Ferryhill)
Inscription on plinth begins 'To the Glory of God ...' and commemorates the men of Ferryhill who died in the First World War, 1914-1918, with names inscribed on all other sides in two columns; additional inscription refers to second World War 1939-1945, and additional names are inscribed. 'Pass not this stone in sorrow but in pride/And may ye live as nobly as they died' inscribed on front plinth Unveiled 1925. (1-2)
