Cairn east of Mount Pleasant (Longframlington; Cartington)
NU 1115 0283. A cairn measuring 16.0m in diameter with a maximum height of 1.2m lies in a very prominent position astride the line of the Cartington - Longframlington parish boundary. The centre has been mutilated by the building of a modern stone boulder enclosure. Several kerb stones are visible around the periphery of the cairn. Surveyed at 1:10,000. (1)
