An important stone 18th century mansion built by the Liddells of Ravensworth, County Durham, after they bought the estate and demolished the ancient home of the Collingwoods who forfeited it in the 'Fifteen'. The main block has nine windows to south; one and seven and one to east, two south. A large base court is attached on the west. The grounds are most attractive. (2)
