Newtonkiln House lime kiln.
Lime kiln in fair condition, the top has broken and the mound is grassed over. Brick-lined kiln pot with an iron band around the top; pot filled with rubble. Three draw arches. Rough dressed stone. (1)

Rubble with roughly-cut quoins, with brick and cast iron. Segmental curved front with three tall draw arches, truncated gabled heads. Paired iron-framed eyes in brick. Apsidal-ended pot, brick-lined. (2)

A post medieval lime kiln is visible as a structure on air photographs at NZ 0323 6531. It is extant on the latest 1958 RAF vertical photography. (3)
