High Bowershield (Elsdon)
High Bowershield farm is now in ruins and the remains are used as stock pens for Low Bowershield farm. The ruined farmhouse has a wall 1.2m thick that suggests it may have been a bastle. The rest of the building seems to be 18th century in date. (1-3)
