Neolithic stone axe head and mace head found on Kirkwhelpington Glebe (Kirkwhelpington)
This axe head and mace head were made between 4000 and 6000 years ago, during what archaeologists call the Neolithic period. They were lost or abandoned on Kirkwhelpington Glebe before the mace head was completely finished. The location of the objects today is not known.
