All Saint's Chapel (Chollerton)

(Marginal) The chapel at Little Swinburn was included in a grant to the prior of Hexham c.1182. It was dedicated to All Saints and had an attached graveyard. (1)

The field, centred NY 94947750, known locally as 'The Cemetery', contains visible evidence of depopulation (see NY 97 NW 39), and the chapel was probably there but there are no remains that can be definitely associated with it. (2)
