Claustral buildings of St Andrew's Priory (Hexham)

Claustral buildings of St Andrew's Priory incorporated into Hexham Court House and Hexham House Clinic. Photo Northumberland County Council, 1971.
These are the remains of the cloisters of the Augustinian priory of Hexham. The remains of an entry hall, an undercroft and the Prior's House can be seen. Most of these were built in the 13th or 14th century, though the Prior's House was built in the 15th or 16th century. They are Grade I Listed Buildings protected by law.
