Blakeman's Law Roman period native settlement (Otterburn)
This Roman period native settlement at Fairney Cleugh is known as Blakeman's Law. It consists of a roughly rectangular stone-walled enclosure. Inside the enclosure, low stone walls are all that remains of four round houses. Fairney Cleugh native settlement is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
