Bellingham Tile Works (Bellingham)

A tile works, for making roof or floor tiles, was established in some of the Hareshaw Ironworks buildings after operations there ceased in 1848. Documentary evidence shows the tileworks were in use by 1855 and they are shown on the first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1860.
