The ruins of East Ealingham farm include a bastle of 16th or early 17th century date. It measures 11.2m by 7.4m with walls about 1.4m thick, except for the east end which is only 0.7m thick. Despite some alterations and partial collapse many original features are still visible, including the byre doorway, a quenching hole, draw bar tunnels, wall cupboard, and slit vents. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
