Walwick Park lime kiln (Warden)
A very overgrown lime kiln, with arches still standing to c.8ft wide x 12ft high. The outer arches curve inwards and are corbelled. One pot, full of rubbish. Three draw arches, pointed, one eye per arch. Dressed stone used for piers and arches. (1)

A limestone quarry of probable Post Medieval date was seen as an earthwork and mapped from air photographs; the quarry lies to the east of Towertie Plantation, centred at NY 8931 7070. The quarry which is aligned SW-NE is approximately 77 m in length and has an associated lime kiln at the north-east end. (3a)
