Romano-British farmstead on Leek Hill (Wark)

MacLauchlan notes a rectangular camp at Hindrigg, Leck Hill, about 200 yards south of Hind-Rigg Farm. The sides were about 45 yards, the west being ploughed out; there were traces of a hut circle inside. (1)

Hogg classes this as a native rectangular, univallate enclosure. (2)

Surveyed at 1/2500 see annotated A.M. (3)

No change, a probable Romano-British native homestead. (4)
