At NY 83226975 and NY 83256975 are two other greatly denuded cairns; each is about 7m diameter and 0.6m high. All surveyed at 1:2500. (2)

The remains of a Bronze Age round cairn situated in a prominent position on the edge of the steep slopes above the Settlingstones Burn. The stone and earth cairn is 8m in diameter and up to 1m high on the E side. A hole in the centre is the result of 19th century partial excavation.
NY 8322 6974. Round cairn 1.36km W of Middle House. Scheduled RSM No 25059. The earth and stone cairn, in the same situation as 25058 above, is 10m in diameter and stands to a maximum height of 1m.
NY 8325 6975. Round cairn 1.34km W of Middle House. Scheduled RSM No 25060. The earth and stone cairn, in the same situation as 25058 and 25059 above, is 9m in diameter and stands to a maximum height of 1m. (3)(4)(5)

16 cup marks have been identified on a boulder that forms part of a cairn. (6)

The site was recorded in a Rock Art survey carried out by the North of the Wall Tynedale Archaeology Group as part of the Beyond the Wall: Edges Green Project. The site was recorded as Howden Hill 3. The boulder is located near the centre of three round cairns on a ridge high above Settlingstones Burn. It is heavily eroded with grooved and some rounded depressions that could be interpreted as cup marks. (7)

Three Bronze Age round cairns are visible as structures on air photographs. The features are as described by authority 3. (8a)
