Gilderdale railway viaduct (Knaresdale with Kirkhaugh)

NY 703486. Gilderdale Viaduct, a stone built three-arch viaduct on the Alston branch of the Newcastle and Carlisle railway, built 1852. The central span has an elliptical arch with smaller circular arches on either side. (The viaduct is shown but not described on OS 6 inch 1957 at NY 70344866). (1)(2)
