Bronze Age flint tool, found near Kielder Viaduct (Kielder)
Between approximately 2500 and 4500 years ago, during a period archaeologists call the Bronze Age, someone made a knife blade from flint. The blade was found in the North Tyne River near Kielder Viaduct by Mr M Sanderson in 1967. It can be seen today at the Border Forest Park Museum in Kielder.
