Old Rowley's Shield farmstead, Kielder Water (Falstone)

The remains of a post-medieval farmstead stand by the Hawkhirst Burn. All that is visible is a mound of grass-covered stones with traces of cultivation around the south and east sides. The farmstead is shown on a map of 1772 as part of the Swinburn estate.
