Walltown Tower (Greenhead)

Foundations of the tower, mentioned 1541 (3) are visible behind the present farmhouse. (2)(3)

No structural remains. The site falls in a pasture field and is marked by a profusion of nettles. (4)

Walltown Tower. Site is shown by mounds behind the present farmhouse. Stone from the tower reused elsewhere. (5)

Tower house built between 1415 and 1541, dismantled in the 1670s. (6a-b)

General association with HER 6073 (Walltown). (6)
