Five shielings 620m NNE of Elsdonburn Shank (Kilham)
(NT 86452986) A group of five sod-built huts, all with entrances facing north-east. Possibly medieval summer shielings. Similar to a group on Plenderleith (Hill) at NT 746106 (See ROXB 26 SE 1). (1)
NT 86432986. Five rectangular enclosures on pasture land sloping north-east. They are about 15m apart, scattered, and with their north ends open and their axes parallel to each other. The construction is of earth and stone banks 1m wide and 0.2m high. Four of them measure 5m x 3m, while two have rounded corners. There is a stream approximately 25m to the east. No dating evidence.
