Far House lime kiln (Knaresdale with Kirkhaugh)
Although various earthworks can be seen around Far House, archaeologists don't know the exact location of the former lime kiln here. The lime kiln was built at an unknown date in the post-medieval period. It was still in use until the 1930s.
