Incorporated in a north-south range of farm buildings at West Stonehouse farm is 17th century building, once a house and in the style of bastles normally built a century earlier. The house has been altered during the late 18th or early 19th centuries, but the roof and some windows appear to be original. The house as more recent buildings on its south and west sides.
