Prehistoric Stone Axe (Beadnell)

A polished stone axe found in 1847 on the farm of Annstead, near Beadnell, about 1/4 mile from the sea. Length 4-1/2ins, breadth 2ins. Now in Alnwick Castle Museum. (See photograph). (1)
