Anti-Glider Trenches or practice trenches at Beadnell (Beadnell)
These trenches are visible on an aerial photograph of this area. They are probably trenches dug during World War II (1939-45) to prevent possible invading German gliders from landing in the area. Geophysical survey in 2015 suggests these may be the remains of First World War practice trenches.
