Alnmouth Mesolithic and Neolithic flints (Alnmouth)

Mesolithic flint site. (1)

A flint microlith found on the raised beach at Alnmouth. Now in Museum of Antiquities, Newcastle. (2)

c.NU 247105. One core, one microlith and three other flint pieces, from Alnmouth. [Present location as above]. (3)

Flints including: 2a columnar micro core patinated blue 25x20mm; debitage blade; Class 5 awl on bulbar end of flake of grey 'budle' flint. 20x12mm; Unclassified fragment patinated blue, >16x8mm; fragment of blade, unpatinated black flint, with scale flaking along the right hand side, late Neolithic. Museum of Antiquities Newcastle, accession number 1927.139.10. Box no.42. PaMeLA id 13056, artefact id 21213 to 21217. (4)
