Medieval manor house near Hadston Farm (East Chevington)
No traces exist of the capital messuage or manor house at Hadston but in the old grass field near the homestead of Hadston are numerous mounds which mark the foundations of ancient buildings. (1)
[Area centred NU 25760010] No visible remains of this alleged site are to be seen. There is however subsidence caused by early mining in the area of Hadston Farm, which was possibly mis-interpreted by the authors of T1. (2)
