Sandyford Moor cairn cemetery (Tillside)
Two large cairns and at least one hundred and fifty smaller stone mounds can be seen at this site. One of the larger cairns was excavated and found the remains of three Bronze Age burials and two cremations. Many of these graves contained Bronze Age pots. A small cup marked stone was found amongst the stones of the excavated cairn. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
