Axe head (Edlingham)

NU 10311105 (b). 'About 1930 I found an axehead in a hedge bank. It was about 9 inches long, tapering, and of polished obsidian. It was presented to the Black Gate Museum, Newcastle, by Sir Walter Aitcheson about 1950'. (1)
