Neolithic stone axe head (Longframlington)

A polished stone axe 6-1/2 inches long, found 'near Framlington Old Pit some years ago'. Loaned to the Society of Antiquaries, Newcastle by Mr A R Robson of Swarland. (1)

Case 2. 1933.20. 'Stone axehead, near Framlington. Lent by Mr A R Robson, 1933'. (2)

Found somewhere on the farm of Embleton Stead, the exact site unknown. (3)
