Axe (Newton-on-the-Moor and Swarland)
[Marginal] A small stone axehead of the flat type with pointed butt found on Hazon Farm, Felton. Donated to Museum of Society of Antiquaries, Newcastle by Mr A R Robson of Felton, August - December 1950. (1)
[Area centred NU 19170576] The axehead was found not very far from the farmbuildings of Hazon High Houses. It has not yet been exhibited in the Blackgate Museum, Newcastle. (2)
No further information discovered regarding the exact site of this find. Approximate area indicated by Mr A R Robson (T2). (3)
