Documentary evidence for medieval mill, presumably on the same site as present mill. (1)

Fenham Mill. Possible remains of mill race visible. (2)

The mill is almost on the sea shore, the wheel was served by the Fenham Burn. The mill formed part of the properties of the monks of Holy Island, this was the mill for Lindisfarne Priory. (3)
