Axe (Kyloe)

[NU 05654084] Neolithic Axe found AD 1952. (1)

A polished stone axe, presumably ploughed-up, was found on the surface at NU 05654084 in March 1952 by Mr S Dunn. (2)

Presented to AO Division by finder, and subsequently deposited in Museum of Antiquities, Newcastle on Feb 4th 1964. Acc No 1964.3. (3)
