Site Details

Old Hazelrigg (Tillside)

This is the site of the deserted medieval village of Old Hazelrigg. It was first recorded in written records from 1242. It was described as a small village in the early 18th century. All that can be seen at the site now is a small cottage and an area of ridge and furrows, the remains of medieval farming.
