Iron Age settlement in Fox Covert (Tillside)
This site is a prehistoric hillfort of Iron Age date . It has wide views to the north, east and south. The earthworks surrounding the site are circular. There are two ramparts and two ditches. The entrance through the site was probably to through a gap in the western side. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
