Church of Holy Trinity (Bewick)
This church was mainly built in the 12th century, though there were some changes made in the 14th century. It is believed to be the most perfect surviving small early Norman church in Northumberland, though a few parts of the building may be even earlier. In 1866 the south porch, bellcote and vestry were added. Inside the church an effigy of a lady can be seen, and several medieval grave slabs have been built into the south porch. This is a Grade I Listed Building protected by law.
