Station Sawmills (Cheviotside)
A number of possible Bronze Age round barrows have been seen on aerial photographs of this site, as well as evidence for ditches and possible enclosures. Archaeological investigations examined some of these cropmarks. They found that several of these features were of prehistoric date, and found two fragments of pottery of this date. A hearth of unknown date was also found.
