Harborough Camp (Cheviotside)

Harborough: An oval earthwork with single rampart enclosing approx approximately 1/4 acre. (3)
Type B2 (Forts on high ground, less dependent on natural slopes for protection). (4)
The earthwork is no longer visible but from traditional accounts and the faint marks of the ditch it appears to have been oval, about 40 yards by 30 yards, and conformable to the slopes of the hill on which it stood. (5)
(Nothing visible on available aerial photographs (RAF 1946))
On a flat topped hill, with steep slopes to the south-west, north-west and north-east and covered with dense undergrowth, and small bushes and trees. No traces of the earthwork. (6)
