Chattonpark Hill Cup and Ring Marks (Tillside)
(NU 0732940 and NU 07402930) Sculptured Rock Cup Marks (Twice). (1)
Near the edge of the declivity c.500x south-east of the camp (NU 02 NE 8) are some incised circular markings. (2)
('A' NU 07562909 and 'B' NU 07552912) Sculptured rocks. (3)
'A' NU 07562906 A large flat rock with several cup and ring marks, rather weathered, but clearly visible in sunlight. There is also an oval basin measuring 0.6m x 0.4m x 0.1m deep, hollowed out of the rock, with a long winding groove or overflow leading away from it down the slope of the rock in a south-east direction.
'B' NU 07562908 A flat rock with a single cup and ring mark. A little to the north is what may be a badly weathered cup and ring mark while to the south is a small depression, possibly a cup mark.
(Discrepancy in siting of 'A' and 'B' with MacLauchlan probably due to early date of survey and lack of control for plotting purposes.)
'C' 07372940 A small rock roughly 1.m square x 0.6m high, on the upper surface of which are two cup marks and at least four possible cupmarks.
'D' 07402930 A flat rock with no traces of cup marks. Vague and formless depressions are the results of weathering. Other rocks in the vicinity showed no traces of cup marks and survey indicated that this rock is that published. (4)
Rocks 'A' and 'B' surveyed at 1:2500. Further markings were identified on large, flat rocks 'E' and 'F' at NU 07562909 and NU 07622926 respectively. The figure on 'E' is of an unusual squarish form, while 'F' bears several weathered cup and ring markings. Surveyed at 1:2500. (5)

On the highest part of the outcrop within the hilltop enclosure where quarrymen have been at work (leaving their wedge marks in the rock) is an occulus. At the centre are two discrete cups with two concentric rings enclosed by an arc that follows their curved shape. To the left is a serpentine groove that provides another partial enclosure for the occulus. Above this is a shallow basin on the scalp of the rock that may be partly natural, but which has a cup and ring added to its centre. (8a)
