Prehistoric Enclosure (Tillside)
This earthwork enclosure stands on a slight rise on the south bank of Mill Burn. It is not clear where the entrance is though it may have been at the north-west corner. This site has not been excavated and its precise date is not certain, though it is likely to have been built in the Iron Age. Evidence from an aerial photograph suggests that this enclosure might have been a multivallate hillfort.
