Tramway (Warden)

Post medieval tramway visble as an earthwork on air photographs taken in 1946. Centred at NY 884 681 the tramways extends from NY 8843 6842 in the sorth to NY 8857 6791 in the south. The tramway appears to connect a large quarry (NY 86 NE 35, HER 7636) in the north to an area of lime working and lime kilns in the south (NY 86 NE 37, HER 7624). (1a)
