Cup and ring marked stone, found near Wood House (Hedgeley)

In draining a field opposite the woodman's cottage (Wood House) a stone 3ft 6ins x 2ft 6ins x 6ins thick was found incised with circular concentric markings. Now preserved in Alnwick Castle Museum. (2)
It was not confirmed that the above ring marked stone is at present in Alnwick Castle Museum; there are numerous similar stones there and few are catalogued. (3)
