This Roman and Iron Age settlement stands on the south-east slope of a hill. There are steep slopes to the south-west, but less steep to the south-east. The earthwork rampart has been badly damaged but appears to have been D-shaped and built from a single bank of earth and stone. The main entrance is to the north-east. The site is divided into two by an internal bank. On the north side of this division is a slight ditch. To the southern side is a smaller bank, perhaps forming an enclosure for livestock.
