Bell Memorial Methodist Chapel, Harlow Hill (Stamfordham)

Former Wesleyan Methodist chapel, dedicated to the memory of Catherine Bell who died on 4th April 1891. The Bells were a local family who farmed many of the farms around Harlow Hill. The chapel was known as the Harlow Hill Methodist chapel and was part of the Hexham Methodist Circuit. It is in Gothic style with no unnecessary adornment. The chapel fell out of use in the 20th century and was latterly used as a garage.
