Lifeboat House, Bamburgh (Bamburgh)
A building is shown in this location on the second edition 25-inch Ordnance Survey of c.1897, although it is not named. On the third edition 25-inch Ordnance Survey c.1897, the building has been enlarged and is known as Lifeboat Cottage. The west gable end of the house shows evidence of a large blocked square opening, presumably for the lifeboat.
