Cup marked stone (Whitton and Tosson)
[Marginal] By the side of an old trackway crossing the burn near the now disused bridge [over Whitton Burn] a rock with two large cups surrounded by smaller ones. (1)
The two large cups measure 8ins by 4 1/2ins deep, and 6ins by 2 1/2ins deep. (2)
NU 06620044. A large moss-covered boulder, measuring 1.3m x 1m x 0.4m high, lies on a north-west slope of pasture, at the top of steep slopes to a burn on the west side, and 80m south-west of the disused bridge. Nine metres to the east, beyond a fence, is an old trackway leading down to the bridge.
Upon the face of the boulder are two large cups, 0.15m in diameter, 0.1m deep. Surrounding them are small cups, of which there are five visible. (3)
Condition unchanged, surveyed at 1/2500. (4)

NU 0661 0045. Cupmarked stone, 690m SW of Wagtail Farm. Scheduled RSM No 20881. The rock, part of a natural outcrop, measures 1m across. A cluster of at least five distinct cupmarks are visible on the rock face, two of which, placed centrally, are unusually large, measuring 20cm across and 8cm deep. Three smaller cupmarks lie around these and the slight traces of several others can also be seen. (6)
