Snitter (Snitter)
(Marginal) Snitter stands on a hill top and consists of four farms and several cottages. Traces of an early occupation are found in a field to the east. (1)
No traces of an early occupation are now to be seen. The fields east of Snitter village were fully perambulated, the largest of which is under pasture and which is crossed by a large baulk separating two sets of very strong rig and furrow plough lines. The field names are modern. (2)
Nothing visible on available aerial photographs (RAF 1946). (3)
