A wagonway is depicted on the Ordnance Survey map of 1865 and labelled as Cramlington Colliery Railway (Lamb Pit Branch) on the 1896 edition. It is visible as an earthwork on air photos taken in the late 1940s and some parts appear to survive as earthworks on air photos taken in 2016. (1-5)
