Medieval Village (Norham)

This is the site of the medieval village of Norham. Its remains includes a castle and a church. It is not known how large the medieval village was, though we know from historical documents that a number of burgage plots were laid out. It is also known that the street names of Castlegate and St Mary Gate existed by 1363.
