This settlement consists of three hut circles surrounded by a system of rectangular fields. It sits on a level area of land above a ravine on the western slopes of Gains Law. To the north and east of the settlement is a cairnfield. The huts measure 10m in diameter and are formed by a bank pf earth and stone between 1 and 2 m high. At least fifteen cairns are known from the cairn fields, some of these appear to have been used for burial. Little excavation has taken place at this site and no dating evidence has been found, though similar settlements elsewhere date from the later prehistoric period. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
